Belichick is an arrogant ass. As a lifelong Patriots fan, I watched him take them to the greatest heights and then crash and burn due to his unchecked ego. All the while he treated the press and fans with disdain, grunting his answers to legit questions and running the team like a dictator. I find this entire situation comical. He will take more millions when he leaves UNC in a year.
As a UNC faculty member I’m equally grossed out and horrified about all this. We have SO MANY serious problems in higher ed right now and this circus with Bellichick is beyond embarrassing.
I want to be open minded and give this woman a chance to maybe succeed...but it's getting harder by the day. For CBS to put out the statement fact checking her. Maybe she wasn't privy to the negotiations the publisher made to promote the book. Maybe she's not using him for publicity? Maybe Im too gullible.

While this is entertaining, the worst sports PR disaster in recent memory occurred just down the road at Duke - the Lacrosse Scandal. But UNC makes up for it in quantity - the Matt Kupec scandal and the twin scandals of improper benefits for football players followed by the revelation of no-show classes for athletes that ended up with the university on probation.
Sad all around. But if I was @unc I'd be setting boundaries because not only do the players hurt with NIL so does the university and nobody wants to deal with the 24 year-old twit

I saw a tweet saying they wouldn’t answer this question so “she must be an escort.”
That’s a little gross but rings true. If how they met can’t be talked about, it really makes one think “well how DID they meet?”
If she didn’t have an answer prepared for that question, then she is really bad at this.
Although to be somewhat fair, being Belichick’s PR person cannot be easy.
