The 'ugly reflection' you talk about was very apparent under the Democrats and Trump has brought a ray of light back into US politics. And the education department Trump is actively trying to 'eliminate' is the Department of MISinformation. This dreary article of left wing, woke and deluded drivel is one of the reasons that Trump got such a big majority. But hey, keep on trying to re-write history if it makes you feel better. The rest of us live in the REAL world.

Wonderful, Char! I’m remembering the Taylor Swift concert I saw there a week before it all went wrong, and the hope that was palpable. I just hope we ever feel it again. But if any place can, it’s New Orleans, so thanks for reporting from there!
